Bowen Support Groups
Bowen Support Groups offer an opportunity to get-together with Bowen practitioners in your area for networking, information sharing and treatment swaps. Some practitioners are quite isolated geographically and it can help to know you have the opportunity to connect with colleagues a few times a year.
Bowen Support Groups are run by practitioners and open to Full and Associate members. It is useful to share the coordination of sessions amongst the group members.
Small groups meet at people’s houses, larger numbers may hire a venue and share costs associated with this. Groups cover the following:
- Discussion of case histories, non-resolving issues (Maintain client confidentiality)
- Practise/review Bowen moves within your level of qualification
- Treatment swaps
- Discuss business development, marketing, promotional activities
- Identify local events to participate in together, support each other to raise awareness of Bowen and yourselves
- Review of A&P knowledge, assessments
- Demand-led CPD training for the group from an accredited trainer. (It may be easier to arrange for a trainer to come to you, if you have sufficient numbers, than everyone individually travelling to CPD courses.)
