After qualifying as a Registered Nurse and Midwife in Cape Town South Africa Sarena emigrated to Rheinfelden, W-Germany where she worked in Sport and Reconstructive Surgery. She completed a 2-year course in Operating Theatre Science at University Hospital Basel, Switzerland followed by many years working in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.

After relocating to London, she came upon Bowen Technique whilst recuperating from multiple whiplash and muscular-skeletal injuries. Sarena then trained as a Bowen therapist, and has since undertaken further education dealing with treatment of Post-traumatic injuries and stress; Body/Mind; Stroke/Immobile; Burnout/Chronic Fatigue; and Psoas Muscle.

As a trained Volunteer Tutor, Sarena was member of the”Expert Patients Program” for patients living with long term health conditions.

Having recently achieved Licenced Associate of homeopathy for nurses (LFHom/nurse) she is further continuing her studies in homeopathy.

Sarena has recently moved to Bordeaux in France.
